Choose your program

As well as being world-renowned, the British university system is one of the most varied in the world. It allows you to choose and even combine several training courses from different fields.

You just have to find your perfect combination!

The United Kingdom, like the majority of European countries, adopts the LMD system (Licence, Master, Doctorate). The studies are organized around 2 cycles:

1st Cycle: Undergraduate

  • Foundation Year: a preparatory year to join the desired « Bachelor » program, to reach the required language level and meet the program requirements;
  • Bachelor: a 3 or 4-year program to obtain a « Bachelor’s Degree » or a Bechelor’s Degree (Top-Up) if integrated with a bac+2 (DUT or BTS).

⇒ 2nd Cycle: Postgraduate

  • Pre-Master: If the student is not eligible for direct admission to the Master! This one is required to go through a preparatory program to have the equivalence and to be able to access the master’s degree thereafter;
  • Master: Prepared in 1 or 2 years and leads to a “Master Degree”;
  • Gold Doctorate (PhD): Prepared in 3 or 4 years after the “Master Degree”.

The score required in English varies from one institution to another! In general, for your registration to be validated, you must pass a language test: IELTS UKVI.

British educational institutions generally offer two admission sessions:

  • Fall session: Begins in September;
  • Winter session: Generally begins in January.

NB: Some universities offer an additional session in May !

It is always advisable to start your procedures within 6 months of the desired session.

  • Visa Visitor (Study): For any study program of less than 6 months;
  • Student Visa or Student Visa (Tier 4): for any higher or additional training of more than 6 months.

You can apply for your UK student visa up to 3 months before you start your studies provided that you:

  • Be over 16 years old (Proven parental consent if you are 16 or 17 years old);
